When sharing content between devices of different operating systems, it's best to choose the most universal formats that can be read, displayed and opened by both. For images, JPG, PNG, BMP, GIF and the like are preferred as opposed to proprietary formats like HEIC/HEIF on IOS. Likewise, video formats as MP4, MOV are preferred over WEBM, WMV or other specialized codecs. Documents and files such as PDF, DOC, XLS and PPT are better than other more app-specific types, unless that is your desire to share a custom or proprietary file.
In those cases, Foursure® may not be able to thumbnail or preview the shared file within the app, and only offer a download or save option, if permitted.
