Notifications are requests by users to access your controlled share. As a subscriber, if set, you may optionally allow/deny or ignore those requests. Notifications normally appear in realtime via PUSH messages. However, sometimes notifications can be missed or batch up in case of time away from the app or device. In this case, notifications are queued as pending in the app. In this case you will see a red notification button with the control menu icon to alert that you have pending notifications.
CONTROL -> TAP “CONTROL” TOP BANNER
Control is also where you respond to pending access requests notifications (if set) in a queue, if you happened to have missed the real-time notifications. Simply tap the CONTROL banner and see a list of pending requests, and tap each to address them in turn. After responding to a notification, they will automatically clear. Requests are valid for 24 hours and will expire after that and the user must re-request access.
